If I'm being honest, I didn't choose to take this class, but the reasons why I'm taking it would have to be that it could help better my technology skills. I've never really been too great with technology until last year when I took Digital Design 1, and even then it was just a few basics. I'd also be taking this class if I am planning on building a career around something involving the internet such as writing articles about current days events. This could also be a really big help if I was planning on going into the film industry if I were to become a director or help with the motion pictures.
